Development Strategy – the Kapitan Competence


The winners of the annual contest “Forwarder of the Year-2017” were announced at the General Meeting of the Belarussian Association of International Forwarders (BAIF) members on the 5th of June. Our Belarusian enterprise Viptrans-spedition SOOO was awarded a diploma in the nomination “Development Strategy” following the results of its business activities and rating in the market of forwarding and logistics services of the Republic of Belarus.


The development strategy of the Kapitan Group provides for the further growth and modernization of the truck fleet, development of new transport routes, improvement of the quality of transportation services and the level of employees’ competencies.

Summing up the results of 2017, we continue moving forward in the chosen direction.

Own modern truck fleet. The average age of a vehicle in our fleet is 2.5 years. All trucks meet the EURO-5 emissions standard. We have already purchased 30 new branded road trains with Schmitz tented and curtainsider semi-trailers since January 2018. The semi-trailers are equipped with a special DROST fastening system, which provides additional fixation of cargos with a high center of gravity (big-bags, octabins, bags, etc.), safe packaging and presentation of products.



Transportation geography. We are actively developing remote regions, as evidenced by the analytical data for 2017. The share of transportations from Central Asia and Mongolia to the CIS and EU countries has increased by 65% compared to 2016, and a large long-term project for the transportation of tractors to Turkmenistan has been implemented.

High level of logistics services. Our reliability and professionalism are confirmed by various National and International Associations of Carriers and Forwarders, e.g. BAMAP, BAIF, FIATA. The quality management system meets the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 international standard. The inhouse system of staff internship, training, and certification as well as trainings and master classes by external experts enable continuous professional improvement of our drivers, managers, and specialists.
