Schmitz curtainsider semi-trailers are designed for transportation of general cargo, indivisible long cargoes and consolidated cargoes. Special sliding mechanism at the side curtains provide quick access to the interior space, which reduces time for loading, unloading or partial unloading of individual consignments. The semitrailers load bearing capacity is up to 24 tonnes. The stowage space of the semi-trailers is 100 m³ (Mega type). Inner height is regulated with struts lifting mechanism up to 15 cm, which facilitates and speeds up the work of a loader. Cargo securing system certified in compliance with EN 12642 XL and pursuant to Daimler 9.5 Directive allows handling cargoes that require additional fixation on the road.
