With clear vision of business development, the companies of the Kapitan brand systematically expands its resources and capabilities.
In October 2014, five new road trains consisting of the MAN TGX truck tractor and the Krone Jumbo roomy tilted semi-trailer supplemented the motor vehicle fleet. Permissible cargo height up to 3.13 m, complete frame dismantling without any special tools, removable aluminum sides, Multilock cargo fastening system (4 tons fastened by chains), installation of ramps for drive-in – these are the characteristics demonstrating obvious advantages in operation.
In Q4, 2014, ten new road trains arrived, consisting of the Scania truck tractor and the Schmitz Mega curtainsider semi-trailer, with the volume up to 100 m3. Due to the sliding mechanisms installed, the inner space is readily accessible, reducing the time necessary for loading and unloading. The mechanism for lifting the struts up to 15 cm makes the loader’s work easier and makes it possible to carry the cargo up to 3 m high. The cargo fastening is certified in accordance with EN 12642 XL and with the Daimler 9.5 Directive, making it possible to handle versatile loads including those for which the supplementary fastening during transportation is required.
In January 2015, we purchased five Krone tilted semi-trailers with sliding roof, for MAN TGX truck tractors purchased earlier (in May 2014). Use of special hinges and customs cable instead of a multilock outer frame simplifies and accelerates untarping of a semi-trailer.
The purchased lot of motor vehicles meets the environmental standard EURO-5.
Due to the investments into its motor vehicle fleet, Kapitan expands the geography of cargo transportation and acquires appropriate flexibility to satisfy the growing demands of customers.
