«When you're smiling, when you're smiling, The whole world smiles with you.
When you're laughing, when you're laughing, The sun starts shining through»
A smile can work wonders, as a well-known jazz maestro says. So, Kapitan grabbed our tasty treats, put our good mood on and set out to Ivyanets Residential Care Home for Children with Physical Disabilities on May 30 to share smiles with and joy to those especially in need of care and attention. It was our employees who proposed to raise money and organize a corporate charity event. KAPITAN's team supported the initiative of good.

The residential care home welcomed us with festivities. The programme of the day started with a celebratory assembly dedicated to the end of the school year that was warm and homelike. The graduates tied ribbons on the tree of meetings and partings to return to the place that had become their home. Balloons floating in the sky have become the symbol of boldest dreams and future hopes coming true. The graduates gave farewell speeches to younger pupils and expressed their gratitude to teachers and mentors. The last school bell rung to sound much-anticipated summer holidays and a new adult life for graduates.

The children went on to a sweet buffet and we headed to an exhibition of children’s craft and a holiday concert dedicated to the International Children’s Day which is traditionally celebrated in many countries on June 1. With all the vocal events, school couplets, sketch comedies and fascinating handcrafted items, the time passed joyfully and interestingly.

The sparkling eyes and smiles of the children and the undisputable right of each child to be happy are the contribution to our Future that everyone can make and that is definitely worth our effort and time.
We thank our new friends for their optimism and self-confidence!
Let the whole wide world smile with you! And Kapitan will certainly come back!
