Task: Safe delivery of the non-standard oversize cargo on the route of 4,000 km, allowing for the fact that the special fastening systems semi-trailers are equipped with are not sufficient and there are no storage containers for the equipment.

Project description:
Kapitan has heart in complex interesting projects requiring individual solutions and creative approach. As part of the special project, freight forwarding specialists of the Group of Companies developed a cargo packing method, loading and fastening configurations and selected necessary packaging materials. Such a comprehensive approach to fulfillment of the task made it possible to ensure complete control of the transportation process and to prove that there are no deadlocks when decisions are made after careful consideration, based on assessment of possible variants.
Project transportation required 18 road trains and was implemented in 3 stages. According to the “moving in convoy” principle of delivery, each 6 vehicles arrived to custom clearance offices and for unloading simultaneously. The third lot of equipment was delivered by the Group of Companies 4 days before the announced deadline, upon previous agreement with the customer.
Additional services:
- a photo report from loading for the consignee on the same day;
- providing information on the transportation status twice a day;
- vehicles escorting in the territory of Austria.
Achievement of the goal set by us – to understand the customer’s need and make a sincere contribution to their success – became an impulse for establishment of the trust-based relations and their further evolution into effective cooperation.
