On 29 May, KAPITAN celebrated its first birthday. It was exactly one year ago when Viptrans-spedition SOOO and Rusant OOO have merged under the united brand, Kapitan.
In accordance with the goals to be achieved, the Group of Companies has been tirelessly going ahead: Forwarding Department and Consolidated Cargo Department were opened, new cargo destinations – Turkmenistan and Turkey – were developed, and modern road trains were purchased to expand the motor vehicle fleet.
In accordance with the Oriental proverb, “to start a thousand mile travel, you must take the first step”. And the first step has been made – with confidence and dignity!
Every man could feel the solemnity of this important event when listening to the manager’s congratulatory speech on the results of work carried out throughout the year and the prospects for further development. The holiday provided an excellent opportunity for all the staff members to meet and communicate in the informal setting, to know more about each other and, of course, to exchange mutual wishes. Also, such bright events are remembered as awarding the winners of the photo contest, Opening the new routes: 365 days en route!, and the leader in the Thanks, colleague! category, as well as contests with gifts and surprises, the corporative Kapitan cake, joint wish-making and blowing out the candle.
